Since 1994, we have been doing what we enjoy and what also helps the environment – frames for various types of bicycles.

About FORT
FORT is a family company – it has been that way since the very beginning 30 years ago. FORT is also not a bicycle assembly shop; we specialize in frame production because we know how to do it and have something to offer the world.
Many of our colleagues have been with us for over 20 years and over the years we have built a team based on trust and determination to pull together.
We work together as one man and know each other, often even in our personal lives. That’s the only way we know that if there’s a problem, we can solve it together.
Everyone who works for us has a connection to bikes, whether they ride them to work every day, ride SingleTrails through the forest, or just like the idea of cities where more people can get around in a healthier and more planet-friendly way – on bikes.
And that’s why we can deliver top results – because we enjoy it ourselves.
Production process
How do we make our frames?
Our bicycle frames go a long way before they become the basis for a means of transport from a simple tube. The entire team is involved in the production and the product itself goes through the production process from the initial concept to the finished frame that we ship to you.
Design
You and your idea are at the beginning. And that is exactly what our designers can work with. Before we can even start production, we sit down with you and discuss your needs and requirements.
Based on these, the designer will create a final drawing for the production of the prototype.
Prototype
We are committed to delivering only the best products, which is why we first build a prototype.
This ensures that together we "iron out all the bugs" that might appear during the transition from the design to the physical world. Only when you are satisfied with the prototype can production begin.
Material
Together we will select the right material for your vision.
We source the highest quality materials from suppliers across Europe and around the world, so you can be sure that together, with the help of our many years of experience, we will find the right one!
Production
Once the prototype is approved, the production process begins. It begins with metal tubes that are cut, bent, shaped, milled, turned, drilled and further modified according to the drawings.
The individual parts are then joined together. All our welding and soldering is done by hand, so you can count on precision work, where each piece is treated as if it were a single product!
Finalisation
After the frame is assembled, it is finalised in the form of sandblasting, cleaning, geometry alignment and final output inspection.
FORT also has an in-house powder paint shop, where we can paint your frame according to your wishes. Along with this, we are able to provide your frame with stickers, the production of which we will also arrange, so you have everything without worries.
Export
This is where our frame's journey ends, but it also begins! We are not a bike assembly shop, we specialise purely in frames, so the next parts of the production process will follow elsewhere - at our customers'.
However, we believe that we have laid the foundation for a top-notch bicycle here and our frames will support you, no matter where you ride!
