Quality for long journeys

Gravel Bike

A touring bike frame for a Swiss manufacturer, which is a staple of our production process.

The customer appreciates our proximity to Asian factories, flexibility to meet requirements, delivery even in small series and, above all, the quality of the work performed.

We provide the frame with details that give the bike a luxurious look – for example a soldered metal logo on the front of the frame. The finishing options also include lacquering, after which we grind down the logo again to make it evenly polished/shiny and stand out more on the coloured background.

Specialty for travelers

Travel Bike

A frame for a touring road bike, especially suitable for long trips. It is precisely because of this specialisation that the frame must be designed to be able to accommodate a larger amount of cargo and still be a classic bike.

Due to the fact that the market demand comes more from bike travel enthusiasts, we produce smaller series for our customers – thanks to this we are sure that the bikes will sell and at the same time we are able to respond flexibly to the changes and innovations that the market brings.

Due to the preference for brazing over welding, most of the joints on the frame are manually soldered using silver and then ground for a smooth transition between the two tubes. We will be happy to lacquer this model for you in our lacquershop.

For an unconventional sport

Cycleball Bike

These frames are made exactly for Cycle Ball purposes: the frames must be extremely strong, so as to not crack and withstand all the almost acrobatic manoeuvres of the players. At FORT, we can make just such a frame while maintaining the lowest possible weight.

We are the only manufacturer that makes cycling frames with steel, not aluminium. We also make Cycle Ball frames fully equipped – with fork, handlebars and lacquering.

It is not uncommon for a bike to be damaged occasionally during this demanding sport. Since these bikes are expensive and made of the best materials, it would be a shame to throw them away, which is why we offer our partners frame repairs including painting, thereby contributing to both the economic and ecological aspects.

And by the way: the German national team has won the Cycle Ball world championship (football on wheels) on our frames for two years in a row.

High End Hard Tail

Mountain bike frame designed by an English customer. We make no secret of the fact that this frame is the top-of-the-line mountain frame.

It is made of the highest quality REYNOLDS steel and every detail must be processed with surgical precision, as it was designed for the best riding characteristics. Such high-quality steel is difficult to machine and shape, but FORT handles everything perfectly.

From the geometry itself, through welds, hand soldering, to lacquering we are not satisfied with anything but perfection. It goes without saying that we therefore offer finalisation in our lacquer shop.

Technological top of the range touring bikes

Pinion High End Touring Bike

A frame for a high-end touring bike made of the highest quality REYNOLDS steel.

The resulting bike does not have a classic derailleur, but has the new Pinion gearbox technology, so the frame had to be adapted for its installation, which FORT managed without any problems.

Since this is a high-end bike, everything must be precisely designed – from the structure, through the joints to the finalisation. Although the REYNOLDS steel tubes are difficult to shape, we have no problem with the frame design according to the wishes of the customer, who designs the frame for the smoothest possible ride.

The small loads expert

Family Cargo Bike

A frame for a cargo city bike is especially suitable for families, as it is built for transporting smaller loads, but also children! It is also used by smaller businesses such as ice cream stands or courier companies.

At FORT, we can produce the frame including accessories such as bicycle forks, kickstands or rods. We are also able to lacquer all manufactured elements for you.

Although the geometry of this type of frame is demanding to produce, FORT offers production in small batches starting from 20 pieces.

Retro aesthetics for cities

Old-Fashion City Bike

A frame for a city bike that is based on the aesthetics of old bicycle frames that were used during the Second World War and offers an alternative to current designs.

Although the frame is inspired by wartime constructions, it is assembled from modern materials and tuned to maximize riding comfort.

Although the geometry of this frame is complex, we produce it in small quantities for our customers. We will also lacquer the Old-Fashion frame for you!

For families with children

Long Tail Cargo Bike

The Long Tail frame, or as it is sometimes called, the Long Bike, is designed for a type of bike primarily for families with children. You can place up to 3 child seats on its extended carrier, or attach a board to it and comfortably carry shopping on it, for example.

The geometry of this type of frame is complex – the frame went through many iterations before we found the optimal design. We are able to offer production from 20 pieces!

We also offer lacquering for this frame in our own lacquer shop and, given how long we have been producing the frame, we can add other little things and details to its construction according to your wishes!

Folding bike for city trips

Compact City Bike

Frame for the city “folder bike”, which is popular in large European cities such as Brussels. This bike is extremely foldable and light, making it suitable for city trips. Thanks to its foldability, it can be easily stored or taken as luggage on public transport.

The quality of the construction is key for us, as the frame must be light, but at the same time able to carry its rider.

We offer the option of lacquering this frame in our in-house lacquer shop.

Recumbent Bike

For those who want to try something different, there are recumbent bikes and recumbent tricycles! There are people who ride them to work, but there are also daredevils who travel around the world with them.

Recumbent bikes must be comfortable, and therefore the quality of their construction is a topic where compromises cannot be made. Thanks to our careful design and hand-made welds, the resulting frame will have a premium look and a smooth ride!

Cargo bike with normal bike dimensions

Light Cargo Bike

A bike frame with a cargo carrier in front above the front wheel. Thanks to CNC cut parts welded to the base frame, the carrier has a smooth removable mechanism, so you can transform the bike into an easily storable means of transport in five seconds.

The Light Cargo Bike is a cargo bike, but at the same time it is close to the compactness and elegance of a classic bike. For even better aesthetics, we will be happy to fine-tune the details on the frame according to your wishes. We will also lacquer the frame and provide stickers if you wish!

Since the customer mentioned below is a start-up, we produce this frame in very low series, although it is a more expensive design.

Long Tail Cargo Bike, ver. 2

This is a version of the Long Tail Cargo Bike with a different design. The Long Tail frame, or as it is sometimes called, the Long Bike, is designed for a type of bike primarily for families with children and offers a long rack for attaching a child seat, or perhaps shopping.

The geometry of this type of frame is also foldable, but FORT has always been able to meet all requirements for modification, adding details and Lacquering. We are able to offer production from 20 pieces!
